Campus Life Marketing & Communications (CLM) works to showcase & highlight the exclusive, world-class student experience at Wake Forest. We develop and maintain brand standards, communication strategies, and cohesion across the individual units while serving as the lead marketing resource for the Division of Campus Life.

Strategic Planning
Each year, Campus Life Marketing & Communications hosts strategic planning sessions with Assistant Vice Presidents (AVPs) for each unit. AVPs bring their annual priorities and goals for their units, including specific high-level projects, in alignment with our Division’s Strategic Vision. In partnership with the Campus Life Executive Leadership team, CLM determines the priority, process & timing for strategic projects to be completed. The Campus Life Leadership Team disseminates this information to individual units.
Supplemental Request
Teams should work with their respective AVPs to ensure their projects are included in the annual strategic planning process; however, if new programs or initiatives are created and need marketing support, you may submit your request through the marketing request form. Marketing requests are reviewed weekly to determine availability within our project queue. As you submit requests, please be sure to review our marketing request guidelines included in the submission form.
What You Can Expect
As projects are identified through strategic planning or requested via the marketing request form, CLM will collaborate with the requester to evaluate requirements, define a list of deliverables, and establish a budget and timeline for progression. Once consensus is reached on the deliverables, budget, and timeline, the workflow will commence, incorporating partner review before advancing to production.

Beginning in Fall 2024, Campus Life Marketing will offer workshop sessions that help equip and empower you and your team to create and execute your best marketing and communications efforts. See below for our next session!

CLM Marcoms Cohort
Beginning in Fall 2024, Campus Life Marketing will host monthly marcomms meetings with lead marketing and communications officers across the Division. These meetings will serve as a sounding board for Divisional and UMC campus partners to discuss, dissect, and disseminate standards and stories that speak to the Wake Forest student experience. As a hub for cross-collaboration and ideation, the group will meet to share ideas, relevant updates and announcements, and divisional priorities in alignment with the Campus Life Strategic Visioning.
