Brand Standards & Guidelines
Consistency is key.
While the Division of Campus Life represents the distinctiveness of a centralized student experience, we and each unit within the Division represent Wake Forest’s universal identity. All units should follow and operate within the University’s Brand Identity Standards when producing consistent and comprehensive visual applications representative of the student experience.
Brand Assets
The university has established official brand assets that are available for use by all official WFU professionals. See below. Please note that University Marketing and Communications recently updated our university logo. To ensure your unit is using the most up-to-date logo suites, we recommend redownloading your unit’s logo suite by August 2024.
- University Colors
- Official Departmental Logos
- Email Signature Standard (feel free to add your Clifton Strengths, but please refrain from other additives)
- Presentation Templates
- Wallpapers/Zoom Backgrounds
Established Brands & Marks
The following University initiatives have established brands managed by Campus Life Marketing & Communications. If you are programming alongside one of these initiatives or would like to include their visual elements for specific projects, please contact us to access the brand assets and standards needed for your marketing efforts.
Note: Use of the following established brands and marks requires approval from Campus Life Marketing prior to production or digital use. Please email your materials to clm@wfu.edu.
Our Residential Commons model, The Forest, represents the first-year residential experience and the sense of place they’ll find here at Wake Forest.
Thrive is our campus-wide wellness brand that delivers mental health messaging promoting campus education and peer awareness, 758-CARE, and other initiatives under the Office of Wellbeing.
We Are Wake is our campus-wide mental health campaign that helps us understand what distress looks like in the Wake Forest community, knowing when and where to find help, and learning effective responses when mental health concerns arise.
Athletics and use of the Demon Deacon
Wake Forest’s athletic logos may only be used for athletic-related communications and marketing materials, team uniforms, and consumer apparel. The intention is to protect the integrity of the institution’s athletic logos and to ensure such logos are used in an appropriate manner.
NOTE: All likenesses, images, illustrations, etc., of the Demon Deacon are subject to approval by the Athletics Licensing Department.
CLM will work with Athletics as needed for applicable athletics promotional items for the Division.
