Digital Screens
See you on the big screen!
Campus Life is excited to partner with Carousel, a digital signage content management system that makes submitting content easier than ever!
Carousel is now available for digital signage submissions for Residence Halls (including Deacon Place), the Benson Center, the Wellbeing Center and Campus Recreation spaces.
See below for instructions on how to submit your content with Carousel.
*Digital signage submitted before April 1 has been accounted for. New signage will need to be submitted to Carousel.
Step 1. Log into Carousel
All previous users of digital screen signage have been sent an invitation to sign up with Carousel! See the instructions below for logging in for the first time.
If you are a first-time user—you have never submitted content to a digital screen— or you were not added as a previous user, you’ll need to request access to the Google Group to be added as one. Upon review, users will be added to the group within 48 business hours.
Step 2: Upload, Schedule and Submit!
Now that you’re logged in, all that’s left is to upload, schedule, and submit your content!
Step 3: We’ll take it from here!
A content manager from each department will approve your signage within three business days from the date of your submission.
Note: Approval is based on each department’s current queue log. Content managers reserve the right to adjust the signage schedule accordingly.
Tips & Tricks
Submitting Dynamic Bulletins
Interested in submitting a “Dynamic” bulletin? WFU users are permitted to use Canva and Google Slides to submit content. See below for instructions.
Troubleshooting
My bulletin is in the “Unapproved” section.
Bulletins will be reviewed within three business days. Make sure you’re reviewing the status of your submission after the approval timeframe.
If your bulletin needs to be updated (e.g., accuracy, brand standards, QR code fix, etc.), the content managers of those screens (“Zones”) will reach out to you via the email associated with your submission before it’s approved for publishing.
I don’t see my bulletin in all of the places I want it.
Make sure that you’ve copied your bulletin to each screen (“Zones”) you’d like it published to. Review instructions on copying bulletins to other zones.
Need help? Submit a request, and a team member from Campus Life Marketing and Communications will follow up.
